For Overwatch Season 3: Into the Tiger's Den, it was a pleasure to work on the new Neon Junction map, set in a bright and colorful Tokyo.
Starting with blockouts handed over by the level design team, we created the art models, handled set dressing, and put together the vibrant city backdrop.
We also provided support with the usual technical tasks, like setting up collision and general map optimization, to bring the map across the finish line.
All in all, it was a really fun map to work on :)

Apart from the usual shenanigans, I also got to make this cute Murloc Kaiju plushie.
The ground mesh was made by Gaël Le Rétif.
The cool moving EQ graphic above the doorway was made by Benjamin Sauder.
I was really happy to also get the chance to work on traditional Japanese architecture.
I loved doing the research to come up with the final design.
I made the temple on the hill, completely built with modules.
The Torii were made by Axel Daboineau, and the garden was put together by Viktor Colpaert.
For this room I did the initial blockout, and made most modules. Viktor Colpaert did the final art pass.
Here I worked on the initial blockout. I also made the modular bookshelves and the technical setup for placing the manga books.
The rest was beautifully done by Viktor Colpaert.
I was also asked to make the illuminated signs in the mall for the Moda Shift and Nullform shops.
