Hello there!

My name is Reinier Goijvaerts, and I'm Senior 3D Artist focused on Game Art.

Previously, I have worked on the full production cycles of Desperados III (incl. 3 DLC missions), Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice Standalone DLC and Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, as well as many small mobile and browser games.

I'm current working on Overwatch for Airborn Studios from Valencia, Spain.

Languages

I currently speak Dutch, English, Spanish and German fluently, with a bit of French on the side.

Hobbies

I dedicate the majority of my spare time further honing my skills. I also enjoy making music, playing videogames, going for walks with my dog Max, studying different areas of interest (history, architecture, astronomy, languages, etc.), running, cooking, and just watching a good movie from time to time.

Skills

What I currently offer:

• Professional experience with programs such as Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Keen eye for layouting and composition.
• Experience with hard surface modeling, basic sculpting, vegetation modeling and texturing, as well as procedural modeling workflows (Geometry Nodes).
• Understanding of current modeling and physically based rendering (PBR) workflows.
• Basic shader creation knowledge (HLSL & Unreal Material Editor).
• Ability to write custom tools/scripts for Blender, Substance Painter/Designer and Adobe Photoshop.
  I have experience with languages such as C#, Java, Python, HAXE, Javascript, HTML/CSS.
